IRAN
When I went to Iran I had no idea what I was going to discover. Iranian friends had advised me to go to their country and so awakened my curiosity. I also wanted to see again this country where I had traveled before the Islamic Revolution and which for years has been badly considered in the media. On this trip, I could see that everything that is told about Iran, a country perceived as the "axis of evil", did not correspond to reality. For a month, going to Isfahan, Kashan then Shiraz, Qeshm, Varzaneh and Yazd, I realized that there was a huge discrepancy between the image of the country conveyed by the media and reality. From the beginning the welcome was warm, for the Iranians hospitality is a rule. Throughout this journey I met only people of great openness and subtlety of mind, as well as a beautiful curiosity about what is happening outside their country.
